As you may have noticed, you now have a title under your username. This is your rank. Ranks are automatically set by post count. Everyone starts out as an Roamer. To get the the next rank, which is Islander, you have to have 32 posts (32 because powers of 2 are more epic than common 5s and 0s ). More ranks will be set later on. Higher ranks do not give you more authority over other users, unless of course you are a Infomaniac (Admin), which can never be reached through post count. This is just simply to show how much active you are on the forums. One thing I think that will happen is, once you have a very high post count (like 500?), you can choose which job (group) (like Doctor, Pizza Deliverer, Racer, Station Master, etc) on the island you want. Or maybe it could go like this. The higher post count you have, the more jobs (groups to join) are available. Getting jobs currently don't have a plan to do anything. This is just a for fun thing.

I forgot to mention that officers are mods. So that job won't be chooseable.
