| I have no Idea how any of this happened. I never encountered any major glitches before, but I have, minutes ago, experienced a duo of glitches that I'm not sure what to make of. After discovering that the race music can be triggered from the overworld by going close enough o the gates (neat!), I colored the helicopter (due to another unidentified glitch after failing the brickster scenario, the copter is always assembled when I go to build it.) I entered the racetrack as Nick on his cycle, from the mountain park. Usually, I blaze through the racetrack without bothering to look at the untamed craziness erupting around me, but this time, I wanted to stop a few times to watch the firetruck pass, since I was in the lead anyway. But then the strange things started. When I went up the next hill, there was no giant octopus, though he spawned on the next lap. After winning red brick, I skipped all of the subsequent cutscenes and went over to the pizzeria to accept a delivery. After skipping all the cutscenes, I found myself spawned outside the police station, elevated and intangible. I was unable to get in vehicles or enter buildings, but could change flowers. However, after going back to the pizzeria and tiggering another cutscene, I was back to normal. I took a little video near the end, and I will upload it soon. I just wanted to get the story out as soon as possible while it's still fresh in my mind. If anybody can figure out how any of this is possible, please tell me how. I was not using debug or any glitchy graphics configuration. |

| Oh, um what. I've never even heard of any of these glitches, and the race music does not trigger for me when I go near the gates, I've been there many times. |

| Really? Add that to the pile then. I might want to see if any of this is replicable. Scientific process and all that. Also, the video I took towards the end is here:

Hope that link works. I'm not too familiar with forums so I don't know how to embed. I can't find it in the FAQ either. |

| Hey, good news. I was able to replicate the music glitch. It turns out that the red gate you use in the tow mission that loads the music too! However, I have not been able to replicate the music at the skull gates, or the disappearing octopus/pizza clip glitches. I do have video of the red gate glitch, though. Check the video above for a response. Also, I have done a system restore to get a particularly nasty Trojan off my PC, and it reverted the helicopter back to its non-glitched state. |

| Well, I was talking to a friend, and he seemed to be able to replicate the music glitch on his copy, meaning this should work on both the original and re-release under the right settings. However, he also told me about the game going crazy if you glitch behind the pirate door, which I may try to replicate. Expect a video if I do. |

| Okay, it turns out I know why the racetrack music triggers. Any time you go on the racetrack proper (where the cars go), even if the game is not loaded, the music triggers. At first I thought the skull gates did it, but almost anywhere will do. It turns out that a small area behind the red gate is considered part of the track too. Also, I'm skeptical about the pirate door thing. I can't seem to get anything to happen. Then again, this game has so many quirks, It could happen anytime. And did you know that in the jetski minigame, the shark rider and the ramp-climber (who also appears on the island on rare occasions) , although seeming Identical, are actually seperate people and can be changed differently? Although it is hard to get the shark guy to stay still and be clicked. |

When I went near the gates, the race music started going. Maybe it depends on what version of LI you have. |

| My LEGO Island.exe date for last modified says: September-08-97, 5:00:00 AM and the version is 1.1.0.0
I just realized that it says the product name on ISLE.exe is "Adventures on LEGO Island" and LEGOIsle.exe is plain "LEGO Island". |

| You actually don't even need to check the EXE. The 2002 reissue updated the copyrights on the autoplay window (It should say 1997-2002 on it). |
